Terms of Service

Last updated: January 1, 2026. These terms govern your use of the Channelux IPTV subscription service at https://channelux.ca. By ordering or using the service you agree to be bound by them.

1. Service description

Channelux ("we", "us", "our") provides a subscription-based IPTV streaming service delivering live television channels, video-on-demand content and electronic programme guide data over the internet. Access is provided through the IBO Player application on a single authorised device per subscription. If you do not agree with these terms, do not use the service.

2. Account registration

  • You must supply accurate, complete and current information when ordering.
  • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential.
  • You must be at least 18 years of age, or the legal age of majority in Canada, to hold an account.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised use.

3. Subscription plans and payment

Channelux offers subscription terms of 1, 3, 6 and 12 months, plus a discounted introductory 1-month plan for new customers. Current prices for every plan are shown on the pricing page and at checkout.

  • All prices are displayed and charged in Canadian dollars.
  • Subscriptions are activated as soon as payment is confirmed.
  • Payments are processed securely. Channelux does not store payment card details.
  • Subscriptions do not auto-renew unless explicitly stated at checkout.

4. Refunds

All sales are final once an account has been activated. Because the service grants immediate access to digital content:

  • No refunds are issued after account activation.
  • Exceptions apply only to (a) a verified service outage exceeding 72 consecutive hours, for which a pro-rata credit may be issued, or (b) a confirmed duplicate charge, which is refunded in full.
  • Requests must be submitted to [email protected] within 7 days of the qualifying event.

5. Acceptable use

You agree to use the service solely for personal, non-commercial viewing. You must not:

  • Share, resell, redistribute or sublicense your credentials to any third party.
  • Broadcast, publicly display or re-stream the content.
  • Attempt to circumvent access controls, DRM protections or authentication systems.
  • Use automated tools, bots or scrapers against the service.
  • Use the service in a way that breaks any applicable law in Canada or elsewhere.
  • Use the service to access content in regions where such access is prohibited.

Breach of this section results in immediate termination without refund. Legitimate resale is available through our reseller programme.

6. Device limitation

Each subscription permits access on one (1) device at a time. Concurrent streaming on multiple devices is not permitted. The service is compatible exclusively with the IBO Player application; Channelux does not provide support for third-party applications.

7. Service availability

Channelux targets 99.9% uptime and measures it continuously, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free service. Availability may be affected by scheduled maintenance (announced in advance where possible), unplanned technical issues, third-party content-provider disruptions, or force majeure events. Channelux is not liable for interruptions beyond our reasonable control.

8. Intellectual property

All content delivered through the service — live channels, on-demand titles, logos and guide data — remains the property of its respective owners and licensors. Channelux claims no ownership of third-party content. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to view content for personal use only. The Channelux name, logo and website design are our property and may not be used without written permission.

9. Privacy

Your use of the service is also governed by our privacy policy, which is incorporated into these terms by reference.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you breach these terms, without prior notice and without refund. You may stop using the service at any time by contacting [email protected]; access continues until the end of the paid period.

11. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

12. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CHANNELUX SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID IN THE 30 DAYS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Canada. Any dispute shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Canada.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms at any time. Material changes will be published at https://channelux.ca/terms.html with a revised "last updated" date. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
